The Children’s Culture Festival takes place in Reykjavík from April 18 to 23.
Many Facebook users participate by changing their profile picture during the festival and posting a picture of themselves as a child. During the week of the festival, it seems that the average age of Facebook users in Iceland dropped significantly.
DV looked at the pages of several well-known Icelanders and here you can see what the person looked like as a child and what they look like in a recent profile picture. Let’s keep the child in us.
The festival takes place all over the city and offers small and large exhibitions and events created for or with children. The children exhibit their works in prestigious cultural institutions and largely take over the cultural life of the city during the six days of the festival.
This year, special emphasis is placed on events in Grafarvogur and events related to peace.
