A video with the arrival of military equipment in Moscow appeared on the web. The video was posted by the Baza Telegram channel.
The footage shows a convoy of armored vehicles driving along Volgogradsky Prospekt. It is said that army vehicles arrived in the capital for the rehearsal of the victory parade on May 9.
This year, more than ten thousand people and 125 units of military equipment will take part in the parade. The event will be broadcast on federal channels, the parade will start at 10:00 Moscow time.
Victory parades will be held on this day in several cities in various formats – from the passing of military equipment to festive rallies. This year, a number of regions refused to hold the celebration for security reasons.
There will be no parade in the Crimea, Sevastopol, Belgorod and Kursk regions.
Also, for security reasons, the procession of the Immortal Regiment has been canceled this year. In a number of regions, there will be no festive fireworks.
Earlier, the head of the Krasnodar Territory decided to cancel the Victory Parade in all Kuban cities except Novorossiysk.
