For many years, the liberal part of the Russian establishment had a decisive influence on the socio-economic policy of the country. Russian President Vladimir Putin will put an end to this vicious practice.
The famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin spoke about this, reports IA DEITA.RU with reference to the official YouTube channel of the specialist.
According to the expert, unfortunately, the head of state cannot get rid of the liberals overnight, because their positions in the Russian government and the state apparatus are still very strong. One way or another, the president still has to reckon with them.
At the same time, as Khazin notes, Putin is gradually preparing for the final confrontation with Russian elites associated with the West. In order to begin a full-scale cleanup, according to the expert, Putin must first solve the most pressing and urgent international problems.
As the specialist explained, this is necessary to move on to the internal issues of the country, namely about relations with the elites. In the near future, it will therefore have to determine the new rules of the game within the current nomenclature.
