Seoul : Moon Bin, vocalist of the famous South Korean band ‘Astro’, has been found dead at his home in Seoul. His management agency gave this information on Thursday. The singer was 25 years old. Moon’s manager reportedly found him dead at his home on Wednesday evening. When there was no response from Moon despite several attempts to contact him, the manager went to his home. According to South Korea’s news agency ‘Yonhap’, the police is investigating the matter. However, so far no signs of any kind of conspiracy have been found.
Efforts were made to contact the officials of Seoul’s Gangnam District Police Station but they are yet to comment on the matter. Moon Bin’s management agency Fantagio confirmed his death in a statement, saying he “left us suddenly.” Fellow artists and company executives are “deeply saddened and shocked.” According to ‘Fantagio’, Moon’s funeral will be very peaceful and simple. It will be attended by family members, close friends and a few fellow actors.
Moon was a part of the six-member band ‘Astro’ since 2016. The band became very popular in South Korea and Japan in a short time, making it to Billboard’s top-10 list of K-pop bands that year. Significantly, actress Jang Chae-yul (26) was found dead in her house last week. His agency had said that the cause of his sudden death was not known.
