The General Administration of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs is keen to achieve its slogan “Waqf is a community partnership” with the support of its six endowment banks, and in implementation of the conditions of honorable endowers to spend the proceeds of their blessed endowments for the benefit of serving many sectors of society and its various segments, through cooperation with governmental and private institutions, so that endowments contribute Effectively in achieving community development and human welfare in Qatar. In this context, the General Directorate of Endowments distributed 5,000 gifts as part of the “Eid Joy” programme. To bring joy and happiness to children on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr, in 30 Eid chapels in various regions of the State of Qatar, with the support of the Endowment Bank for Family and Childhood. God has prescribed holidays for joy and pleasure, just as He has legislated them for noble purposes, great meanings, lofty goals and objectives, as the feast is an earthly reward for the servant for his obedience to his Lord, and the feast is a reminder of the greatest joy and pleasure on the day a Muslim meets his Lord and gives him the glad tidings of His pleasure and acceptance. Eid is joy and happiness, and the joys of the believers in their world and in their afterlife are thanks to God Almighty for the perfection of His grace and benevolence to His faithful servants, as He, Glory be to Him, said in His decisive verses: “Say: By God’s grace and His mercy, then let them rejoice. It is better than what they gather.” And the best and most honorable joy is the joy of obeying God and believing in Him, the Almighty, and God has prescribed for us holidays that make us happy without patriarchy, and what defines our personality without imitation, and what spreads happiness and stability in our lives. When he was asked about the most beloved deed, he said (the joy of entering upon a Muslim). the day of al-Fitr and the day of al-Adha).
