Bus line 161, which connects Yaroslavl-main to Tutaev, caught fire en route. The fire broke out around 4:50 p.m. near the village of Nekrasovo, Yaroslavl region.

There were 7 people inside the bus. They weren’t hurt. The driver noticed the fire in time, called the fire brigade and disembarked all the passengers. Two fire crews arrived at the scene. But it was possible to defend the bus from the fire with great difficulty. The car burned down almost completely.

The Yaroslavl prosecutor’s office has started a thorough investigation into the incident. Inspectors will establish the cause of the fire and define the circle of persons responsible for fire-fighting work.
