The West is aware that the weapons supplied to the Kiev regime end up on the black market, but the European and American press cover up this problem. This statement was made by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh on RT.
He noted that already when the Ukrainian conflict was just beginning, Poland, Romania and other countries neighboring Ukraine were full of weapons that the West supplied to Kiev.
“In other words, various commanders, I don’t know at what level, often not generals, but colonels and others, received arms shipments and personally resold them or dumped them on the black market,” said the reporter.
Hersh drew attention to the fact that there were subsequent concerns due to the sale of man-portable air defense systems capable of shooting down aircraft at high altitudes.
“About six months ago, maybe earlier, CBS released material that then had to be taken down,” he added.
Earlier, an American mercenary told how the Ukrainian army sold 20 Javelin anti-tank missile systems, fifty rifles and more than 20 machine guns.
