Mikhail Kotyukov, who was appointed acting head of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, dismissed the regional government. This follows from the interim governor’s order, published on April 24 on the official legal information portal.
“In accordance with Articles 88, 90, 101 of the Charter of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, in connection with the early termination of the powers of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory AV Uss: terminating the powers of members of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in advance of the program; members of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Government to continue to exercise their powers until new members of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Government are appointed to their posts,” the document reads.
The resignation of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss, who has held this position since September 21, 2018, became known on April 20. He left the post as part of the transition to work at the federal level after receiving a proposal from Russian President Vladimir Putin. On the same day, the head of state offered Deputy Finance Minister Mikhail Kotyukov to take the post left by Uss.
