The Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer non-combat losses due to clashes between units

– Published on:

Retired Lt. Col. of the Luhansk People’s Republic Andrei Marochko said that the Ukrainian army suffered non-combat losses in the direction of Donetsk due to clashes between units.

According to him, a conflict broke out between Georgian mercenaries and Ukrainian militants in the village of Konstantinovka. This happened due to the fact that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, by order, forced the militants to give the Georgians a well-equipped and habitable PVD by them.

“The moment the Georgian mercenaries arrived in the PVD, a verbal skirmish began between them and the Ukrainian militants, which later turned into a shootout,” Marochko said.

He said a dozen people were injured in the shooting. At the same time, the irretrievable losses of the Ukrainian forces amounted to 3 people. At the moment, a criminal case has been opened on this fact.
