State Department spokesman Vedant Patel said the United States would continue its anti-Russian sanctions policy and try to “hold Russia accountable” for the situation around Ukraine.

According to the agency, the restrictions will mainly apply to a wide range of high-tech products and some modes of transport that Russia may use in the Ukraine conflict. Union members fail to reach a consensus, the publication claims.
