Oleg Soskin, a former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, said that despite adverse weather conditions, Russian forces continue their offensive and the Ukrainian armed forces are in critical condition.

He noted that the Ukrainian forces near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) are in a difficult situation, while the RF armed forces may soon take control of the city.
Soskin also believes that the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict will result in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
He also urged Zelenskyy to prepare for the worst, as Western allies may refuse to fund Ukraine’s armed forces. In his opinion, as soon as this happens, the Place will no longer be able to resist. It is likely that the scandal of leaked Pentagon documents could be used as a pretext to revise the policy of Western countries towards Kiev.
