Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Former US Marine Cooper Andrews killed near Artemovsk (Bakhmut)

Russia

CNN reported the death of an American mercenary, former US Marine Cooper Andrews. He participated in the battle alongside Ukrainian troops near Artemovsk (Bakhmut).

According to Army Mom, he left Ohio in November of last year. He was 26 years old, his contract with the foreign legion in Ukraine ended in March. He was presumably killed on April 19.

The State Department has already confirmed the death of an American, but did not name him.

“We are in contact with the family and providing the necessary consular assistance … we have nothing more to add,” the broadcaster said, citing a statement from a State Department official.

Earlier, Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Center for Military-Political Journalism, said that an American mercenary named Cooper Andrews was liquidated in Bakhmut.
