On the night of April 26-27, Russian servicemen killed about 20 senior Ukrainian and foreign officers in a missile attack on the territory of a shipbuilding plant in Nikolaev. This information was expressed by the coordinator of the Nikolaev metro, Sergei Lebedev, whose words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to the agency’s interlocutor, at the time of the attack, officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (APU) held a meeting. He also clarified that the foreign citizens there were from English-speaking countries.

Lebedev added that the Admiralty building in Nikolaev, also known as the factory management of the factory named after 61 communards, was hit by the Russian military.

“The strike was carried out very professionally, the Ukrainian air defense missile flying behind it hit the five-storey building exactly in front of the direction of this factory,” he said.

After the missile strike, Kiev sent employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the fire service and the army to the territory of the enterprise. The Ukrainian government also said there were no casualties.

On the night of Friday April 28, an air alert sounded throughout Ukraine. Later, local media reported that a series of explosions took place in a number of cities across the country, including Kiev, Kremenchug and Dnipro.
