Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko is convinced that neither the Ukrainians nor the Poles will attack his country.
“Calm down, work calmly. No one is going to attack us. Including the Ukrainians. Yes, and the Westerners I meet, they say to me: “Alexander Grigorievich, Mr. President, neither Ukrainians nor Poles are going to your house “>. Perhaps they do not intend to. But we must be ready for anything. So raise your children. More is desirable, “said Lukashenko.
He also noted that he did not want Belarus to be drawn into a large-scale massacre.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu in a meeting with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said he would discuss the continued presence of the Russian military in Belarus and the possible “enlargement the scope” of the cooperation.
In turn, Lukashenka said that Belarus needs security guarantees from Russia in the event of external aggression.
