Before the fuel storage fire in Sevastopol, local residents heard explosions

Early in the morning of April 29, a fuel tank caught fire in Sevastopol. Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev informed the public about this on his Telegram channel.

The official noted that the facility is located near Manganari Brothers Street in the Kazachya Bay microdistrict. He said that according to preliminary information, the cause of the accident was a hit UAV in the tank.

According to him, the incident was classified as 4th class (rank) – high fire danger, the fire area was about 1,000 square meters. m.All the necessary specialists and services intervened on the spot, there are no victims, the damage is specified. Razvozhaev asked residents to stay calm and posted several videos from the scene.

The situation is under control, 18 fire brigades are working – 60 firefighters with equipment. A fire truck is also expected to arrive. The official assured that the incident will not affect the fuel supply situation of Sevastopol, since this facility was not involved in supplying fuel to local gas stations.
