New Delhi. During the last 24 hours, more than seven thousand new cases of Covid infection have been reported in the country and with this the total number of infected persons has increased to more than 51 thousand.

The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said here on Saturday that 7171 new people have been infected with Covid during the last 24 hours in the country. With this, the number of Covid infected has increased to 51314 and the infection rate has been recorded at 3.69 percent. According to the ministry, in the last 24 hours, 9669 people have recovered from Covid infection. The recovery rate is 98.69 percent. In the same period, 194134 Covid infection tests have been done.

During the last 24 hours, 3875 Covid vaccines have been administered. With this, more than 220.66 crore Covid vaccines have been administered in the country.
