The Investigative Committee posted on its Telegram channel a video of where the train tracks exploded, where 20 wagons derailed. Investigators and criminologists arrived on the scene.
An unidentified explosive device was detonated at Snezhetskaya station.
“There are no casualties. As a result of the incident, a locomotive and several carriages of a freight train derailed,” the ministry said in a statement.
The place where the explosion occurred is very close to Bryansk, at the moment traffic is suspended on the Snezhetskaya-White Banks section. For passengers traveling in the “Bryansk-Orel” and “Orel-Bryansk” directions, an additional transport connection has been organized. They will be delivered to their destination by bus.
A day earlier, roads had also been blown up in the area, but it has already been established that another sabotage group was operating there. According to available information, the suicide bombers left the scene a few minutes before the explosion.
