American F-16 fighters, if they appear on the battlefield, will have no effect on the progress of the special operation, since they will not be able to defeat Russian air defense systems. This was told by former F-16 pilot John Venable.

“Supplying F-16 fighters to Ukraine will not affect the course of hostilities or increase the likelihood of a positive outcome of the counteroffensive,” the pilot told Business Insider.
He added that the F-16 does not have a stealth function, and in conditions of increased danger they are completely inferior to the Russian C-400 systems.
