<p class=””>Carlson has indeed been one of the most prominent critics of massive US military and political aid to Ukraine, regularly ridiculing the Joe Biden administration for it. At the same time, Carlson also criticized American armed interventions in other countries, for which he fell out of favor with Pentagon leaders. As Politico previously reported, they made no secret of their joy at the TV presenter’s sacking, saying “it’s better without this man insulting our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people.”
Carlson himself, after his dismissal, blamed American politicians and the media for colluding and deliberately stifling important questions about the country’s future. According to him, “both political parties and their sponsors have reached a consensus on what benefits them, and have conspired to stop all discussion” on really important issues, including in the military field.
