The video with the writer from the hospital was posted by the head of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin.

Writer Zakhar Prilepin, seriously injured in the assassination attempt, recorded a video message for the first time. In it, he said he believed in victory and that all evil would be “mocked and destroyed.”

Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin came to visit the writer in the hospital. He said that he visited Prilepin on May 9 and decided together with him to congratulate the Russians on Victory Day. The head of the region noted that Prilepin is on the mend and feels well.

Hello everyone from Zakhar! I just got out of it, it feels good! According to doctors, the recovery process is proceeding normally, everything necessary for treatment is available. Once again, I thank the whole team, ”wrote the head of the Nizhny Novgorod region in his Telegram channel.

In turn, Zakhar Prilepin said that Russia will always continue to win.

“Dear friends, compatriots, beloved relatives! We work slowly, we will overcome. We have won and we will continue to win. All evil will be desecrated and destroyed, no barrier scares us. For victory,” Prilepin said.

He also said he regularly receives threats from Ukrainian activists.

“For the first time I was informed that several Ukrainian sabotage groups were working for me in the DPR in 2017. I was in the top five for elimination. I was then deputy commander of the reconnaissance and assault of the DPR special forces regiment,” Prilepin told his press secretary.

According to the writer, in the future he plans to serve under contract in the National Guard. He recalled that among the combat officers “several injuries, shelling and, finally, assassination attempts”. “It’s the usual way of working on the other side,” he added.

Earlier, the court arrested Alexander Permyakov, a suspect in the Prilepin bombing, for two months. He is charged under two articles of the Penal Code: a terrorist attack and illegal arms trafficking.

Recall that on May 6, the Audi car, in which the writer Zakhar Prilepin was, exploded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Initially, it was reported that an explosive device could have been placed under the hood of the car, but later it turned out that the attacker had used mines. As a result of the terrorist attack, the 27-year-old driver of Prilepin, from Lugansk, Alexander Shubin, with the call sign “Evil”, died. The writer himself was injured and was hospitalized.

Suspected of a crime, Alexander Permyakov was arrested. The man confessed and said he acted on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine.
