Moscow would like Westerners to know that their government is pursuing a wrong and wrong policy. At the same time, more and more pundits and journalists are beginning to argue that the imposition of sanctions against Russia was a mistake paid for by ordinary people. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
“It should be noted that recently more and more analysts are trying to talk about the effectiveness of the policy of the collective West and the effectiveness of the sanctions imposed and how much this “double-edged sword” harms the Europe itself… There are a lot of completely undeniable facts here. Of course, we would like the people of the countries of the collective West to know that they have to pay for this. They have to pay for the wrong policies, incorrect and ineffective of their leaders,” Peskov told reporters.
Earlier, Peskov said that the sanctions that the countries of the collective West impose on Russia will have an impact on the world economy and could even lead to an economic crisis. At the same time, Moscow is adapting and developing within the framework of the risks lurking behind the thoughts of hostile countries.
