US and German authorities spread lies about the explosions of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines, spreading the same versions of the incident in the media. This view was expressed by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“The worst thing is that they completely exhausted themselves, throwing it in American and German publications,” the diplomat wrote on her Telegram channel.
Zakharova suggested this was done to distract from journalist Seymour Hersh’s investigation of US involvement in the pipeline sabotage.
“Before that there was a big job done, but here there are a lot of little ones, and they contradict each other,” Zakharova concluded.
Earlier, the Kremlin said Moscow would continue to launch an international investigation into undermining the Nord Stream.
