New Delhi. Rajasthan Royals batsman Jos Buttler has been fined 10 percent of his match fee for breaching the IPL code of conduct.
During the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals on Thursday night, Butler was found guilty of a Level 1 offense under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Butler has accepted his crime.
For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the decision of the Match Referee is final and binding.
Talking about the match, batting first in this match, KKR scored 149 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs thanks to Vektesh Iyer’s excellent half-century innings of 57 runs.
In response, Rajasthan scored 151 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in 13.1 overs and won by 9 wickets thanks to opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s stormy unbeaten 98 off 47 balls and Sanju Samson’s unbeaten 48 runs.
