In the elections of Municipal Corporation, Municipality and Nagar Panchayat held in Uttar Pradesh, the main struggle was between BJP and Samajwadi Pata, but out of 17 seats of Mayor, Samajwadi Pata could not get even one seat and BJP won all the seats. This shows that the people of the state are satisfied with the BJP’s policy, leadership and work.
There is an atmosphere of satisfaction in the entire state due to the security policy of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Plot grabbing, house grabbing, shops grabbing, kidnapping, extortion etc. in cities are such crimes which affect more people. By taking action against the mafia and miscreants, Yogi has made the image of PATA very good in the urban areas. As a result of this, the BJP has left SP, BSP and Congress all three far behind in the mayoral elections.
BJP is also far ahead in Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, Nagar Panchayats. The Samajwadi Party is definitely on the second number, but it has not been able to leave the BJP behind anywhere. Uttar Pradesh is a very important state for any PATA because it is the largest state in terms of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha seats.
Similarly, the two assembly seats contested by BJP’s ally Apna Dal (Sonowal) won both. In fact, Yogi’s glory pervades the cities as well as the rural areas. The bottom line is that the public sees work and now no party can win the election on the basis of caste equation. By fielding a large number of Muslim candidates in these elections, the BJP has increased the headache of those parties who rely on religious mobilisation. The truth is that BJP’s victory in Uttar Pradesh means the popularity of Chief Minister Yogi. (sp)
