Senator Bondarev criticized Scholz for remarks about the unacceptability of peace on Russian terms

The head of the Federation Council’s defense committee, Viktor Bondarev, has slammed German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for his remarks about the unacceptability of achieving peace in Ukraine on Russia’s terms, saying he had moved on. ‘incentive.

“Such statements by a German statesman are gross interference in Russian-Ukrainian bilateral relations, incitement and intrigue,” Bondarev wrote on his Telegram channel.

He also noted that such statements by foreign politicians point Ukraine towards the continuation of the conflict. Bondarev urged Scholz to study German history and analyze what kind of catastrophe Nazism might lead to.

In addition, the senator stressed that the conditions of the Russian side do not imply anything criminal in relation to the Ukrainian people. The Russian Federation defends the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, as well as “its non-inclusion in military blocs and the preservation of new territories within the framework of Russia”.

Moscow will not allow a peace deal to be imposed on terms unacceptable to the Kremlin, he added.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, in a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that the Ukrainian authorities were ready to reach a peaceful solution to the conflict, but did not want Russia to dictate the terms. .
