This time, says Lukashenka, the international arms fair takes place in the year of the 20th anniversary of the state military-industrial committee. Therefore, according to him, the Belarusian part of the exhibition will be “a kind of demonstration of the most advanced made by the national defense sector, including the use of high technologies and artificial intelligence, as well as products innovative civilians that have appeared due to the diversification of certain industries.
The salute expresses the belief that MILEX-2023 will facilitate new exchanges of experience, “the pursuit of an open and trusting partnership dialogue, the development of international military-technical cooperation.”
The Belarusian leader wished participants and guests of the forum good health, productive work and mutually beneficial long-term contracts.
Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov has already given high appreciation of the international exhibition. Present at its opening in Minsk, he called it “a trademark of the defense sector of the republic”.
The samples of armaments and military equipment presented there, he noted, “convincingly demonstrate the scientific, technical and industrial potential of Belarus, which is rightfully one of the producers of weapons of the world”.
