Bhopal. The weather changed once again on Tuesday amidst the scorching heat in Madhya Pradesh (madhya pradesh). It was cloudy in Bhopal at 3.00 pm. After 15 minutes it started drizzling. Hail also fell in some areas including MP Nagar in the evening. Apart from Bhopal, it rained in the afternoon in Sagar, Raisen, Narmadapuram and Datia. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of drizzle in Gwalior-Chambal, Jabalpur, Anuppur, Seoni, Mandla and Chhindwara. At the same time, there is intense heat in other cities including Indore-Ujjain.
According to the information received from the Bhopal Meteorological Center, at present no special weather system is active affecting the weather of the state, but due to the moisture coming with the winds from the Arabian Sea, most of the cities of Madhya Pradesh have started becoming cloudy and strong wind. Along with this, it is also raining at some places. Raisen received 14 mm of rain from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm on Tuesday. In the capital too, the wind speed was about 50 km per hour at different places in the evening. Gram-sized hailstones also fell in Awadhpuri, MP Nagar.
The Meteorological Department says that due to the clouds, there has been a significant drop in the day temperature. However, for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, Tikamgarh recorded a maximum temperature of 44.5 degrees Celsius. This was the highest temperature in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, on Wednesday also there may be rain with thunder and lightning at some places in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Jabalpur, Ujjain divisions.
Senior expert of Bhopal Meteorological Center Ajay Shukla told that at present there is a cyclone in the Arabian Sea. The wind direction has also remained eastern and southeast. The average wind speed is also around 20 kilometers per hour. Due to the continuous moisture coming with the winds, the weather has started deteriorating again. Clouds have started rolling in. Along with this, a situation of thunder and lightning has started forming in most of the districts of the state. On Wednesday also, it may rain at some places in the districts of Gwalior, Chambal, Sagar, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Narmadapuram divisions of the state. This type of weather pattern is likely to continue for three to four days.
The highest temperature of 44.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Tikamgarh on Tuesday. After this, Khajuraho remained at number two with 44.2 degrees. Guna recorded 42.4, Gwalior 42.2, Rewa 41.6, Satna 41.4, Sagar 41.0, Jabalpur 40.5, Bhopal 39.1 and 37.6 degree temperature in Indore.
