Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has announced his intention to meet Russian leader Vladimir Putin on May 24, BelTA informs.
He noted that he had little confidence in government reports about the practical absence of problems in relations between Russia and Belarus.
“I see from the situation that there are still problems, inconsistencies. Sometimes bureaucracy. Who is to blame for this,” Lukashenko said.
According to the President, during the meeting with Putin, he plans to discuss and resolve issues that should not exist at all in relations between Moscow and Minsk.
In addition, Lukashenko said Western countries were unable to strangle Russia and Belarus with sanctions due to increased Belarusian-Russian economic cooperation.
