Arab stars share Jordanian celebrations of crown prince’s wedding

The joy was not limited to Jordanians alone, as a number of Arab art stars decided to join Jordanians on this occasion through a major “free” concert to be held at the Amman International Stadium. at Al-Hussein Sports City.

Jordanian and Arab artists will perform a huge concert under the title: Share with us, “We rejoice in Hussein”, on the occasion of the wedding of Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, to Mrs. Ragwa Khaled Al-Saif on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The “Visit Jordan” page of the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism published an article on Monday about the concert to be held at the international stadium in Amman, with the participation of two Jordanian artists, Diana Karazon and Zain Awad, and several Arab artists, Ragheb Alama, Tamer Hosni and Ahmed Saad.

The party will start at 8:00 p.m. on May 29, at which time the doors will close with the start of the party, according to what the page posted, asking registrants to come to the site 3 hours before the party starts. It will prevent vehicles from entering the sports city.

For his part, the director general of the Tourism Promotion Authority, Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, said in press releases that the concert tickets were completely sold out by the Jordanian public, hours after they were posted on the website. dedicated to the reservation of tickets, in an indication of the desire of the citizens to participate in the ceremony, which is an indication of the joy of the Jordanian people by the happy occasion.

For her part, the artist, Diana Karazon, expressed her joy and pride to be present and to sing at the henna ceremony, and she told Sky News Arabia: “I am very happy and proud to have singing and being present at the henna ceremony on the day of joy of Umm Al-Hussein with our fiancé, the fiancé of Jordan. On the other hand, the artist, Zain Awad, expressed her joy to participate in the grand public ceremony, indicating that she was working on preparing a body of lyrical works commensurate with the ceremony, including her song , which she released a few days ago. , that is to say: “I accept us.”

And the Jordanian Prime Minister had circulated earlier to ministries, institutions and government departments to postpone any festive event planned for the period from May 26 to June 1.

The circular said the purpose of the postponement was to focus all official efforts on this occasion, which is “dear to the hearts of all Jordanians”, and to show it in the way that suits it.

Preliminary ceremony

On Monday evening, Queen Rania Al-Abdullah hosted a dinner at the Royal Hashemite Court – Mudarib Bani Hashem, on the occasion of the upcoming wedding of Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, and Miss Rajwa Al-Saif.

The ceremony was attended by many Jordanian princesses, in the presence of her sisters Princess Iman bint Abdullah II and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, her grandmother Princess Mona (her father’s mother), a number of members Al-Saif family and guests. from various governorates of the Kingdom.

Henna and folk songs

The ceremony included henna painting, the wedding of the bride, and traditional Jordanian and Saudi folk and folk songs and songs, which were performed by artist Nidaa Sharara, artist Zain Awad, artist Diana Karazon, the Misk Together, the Young Women of Salt Folklore Ensemble and the Halim Music Ensemble.

Gifts were also given to participants, including a decorated wooden incense burner and a bag of fine incense, which they keep as souvenirs on this occasion.

Ragwa took the spotlight

Miss Ragwa Al-Saif, the crown prince’s fiancee, caught the eye with her good looks, as she wore a gold-embroidered white dress, designed by international Saudi designer Hunaida Al-Serafi, who said that ‘she used gold threads and silk, as well as the reed and cantel threads that make Najd dresses famous, because it was printed on them. Designs, vegetable and geometric shapes, and patterns inspired by the delicious culture Saudi and Jordanian, to communicate the meaning of this blessed marriage. Miss Rajah also wore a simple hairstyle and soft makeup, which shows her natural beauty and her family resemblance, which always shows up in soft looks.

Queen Rania posted a video clip and photos showing a side of the ceremony on her Instagram account to share with Jordanians the details of the wedding, which is a joy for all Jordanians.

Among the most prominent of them, the young Jordanian Musab Hussein Mahmoud, who suffers from Down syndrome, stole the show after receiving an invitation to attend the banquet on the occasion of the wedding ceremony.

The young man, Musab, posted a photo of himself on Instagram, wearing the invitation card he received to attend the wedding ceremony, and the lines of happiness were clear on his face, and the card read: “His Excellency Mr. Musab Hussein Mahmoud, the respected ones.”


It should be noted that Prince Al-Hussein visited him two years ago to check on his health at his home in the governorate of Irbid, in the north of the Kingdom, after he successfully underwent an operation to remove fluids from the lungs.
