Polish trucks banned from driving in Russia

Polish trucks will no longer be able to cross the territory of Russia, and the cost of fuel for them will be set at the level of European Union prices. This decision was taken by the deputies of the State Duma unanimously, said the speaker of the chamber, Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Deputies of the State Duma unanimously decided on the need to ban the passage of Polish trucks through the territory of our country, as well as to deprive them of the possibility of refueling at Russian prices, in fixing the cost of fuel for them at the level of EU prices,” Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.

This will deprive the Poles of around 8.5 billion euros in revenue they received from Russia, the State Duma speaker said.

Volodin believes that the Polish authorities should be responsible for the demolition of monuments to Russian soldiers and officers, as well as for Russophobia. They will have to explain their actions to more than 20,000 drivers who will now lose their jobs, and around 2,000 transport companies will go bankrupt.
