The head of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, answered the question of local residents why the authorities allowed saboteurs to enter the region. In his Telegram channel he read the appeal of citizens with a request for strengthening security in the region.
The question posed by one of the residents of Belgorod concerned the security line that was supposed to prevent the incursion of militants into the area.
You said that everything is under control, that a serif line has been built. At the same time, the enemy reached the regional center practically on tanks. Inside the village. How is it? Why have perforated edges? Isn’t it possible to ask the Ministry of Defence, the federal authorities to strengthen the security of the region, if everything goes wrong here?

Gladkov said investigating authorities would look into the causes of the incident. As for security, the head of the region has more questions than answers.
I agree with you – I have even more questions than you for the Ministry of Defense. So I don’t want to comment here because I think it’s wrong. We have to decide within the limits of our powers and, of course, we have to draw conclusions based on the mistakes that have been made. Therefore, ensuring the safety of the inhabitants of the Belgorod region is the main task.

He clarified that currently the settlements have been liberated from the saboteurs. The day before, people were evacuated from there, but some decided to stay in their houses and apartments.
Previously, the head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Danilov, had in fact admitted that Kyiv would continue to practice sabotage in Russian border regions. Moreover, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will operate “under a false flag”.
