Russian intelligence FSB confirms Ukraine, US and NATO involvement in Crocus City Hall terrorist attack

Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the National Anti- Committee (NAC), has confirmed the involvement of Ukrainian military in the terrorist attack at Crocus Hall in , near .

According to TASS, Alexander Bortnikov made this statement during a meeting of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC). A video clip of Bortnikov's speech was released by the committee's information center.

According to Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the FSB, Ukrainian and Western intelligence services are broadening the range of potential recruits for committing high-profile crimes on Russian territory. They are also aiding international terrorist organizations by providing training and equipment, Bortnikov stated.

“An indicative example is the involvement of Ukrainian military intelligence in the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow, which we have established,” he noted.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred on the evening of March 22. According to investigators, four men armed with machine guns opened fire on visitors before the performance of the band Picnic, and later continued the attack inside the concert venue.

A major fire broke out in the building, completely destroying the concert hall where the event was to take place. The Investigative Committee reported that the perpetrators used gasoline to start the fire.
