Listing the main tasks of the model law, Kruglikov first singled out “the creation of favorable legal and organizational conditions for the development of artificial intelligence technologies, the promotion of investment in research and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.
In addition, he said, the law allows you to start creating a single market for legitimate, safe and trustworthy applications based on artificial intelligence.
It also stimulates, added the scientist, the development of accessible artificial intelligence ecosystems with digital infrastructure, the implementation of cross-border and possibly cross-industry cooperation in order to advance in the responsible management of trusted artificial intelligence. , the formation of a positive agenda in the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
And another important aspect of the problem can be solved with the help of the developed law. According to him, this is to increase the digital literacy of the population, as well as of the officials concerned in government bodies.
The head of the institute also stressed that it is necessary to ensure, with the help of Belarusian development, “a fair and optimal balance of interests between all participants in public relations in the field of artificial intelligence. Briefly formulating the task performed by Belarusian scientists, Kruglikov added that “the law on artificial intelligence in the CIS countries should become such a leading mechanism for the use of modern information technologies.”
