New Delhi. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked the beleaguered airline company GoFirst to submit a detailed revival plan before resuming its operations. Budget carrier GoFirst, which is facing voluntary insolvency proceedings, has been grounded since May 3.
Official sources informed on Thursday that the DGCA has asked GoFirst to submit a detailed revival plan to fly again. The aviation regulator on May 24 asked the airline to submit an integrated revival plan within 30 days for resumption of operations.
The DGCA had sought information from GoFirst airline on operational aircraft, pilots and other personnel, maintenance management and funds, among other things. A day before this, the company had informed the employees through mail that before the commencement of operations, the salary of the employees for the month of April would be transferred to their accounts.
