Justine Trie, winner of the Cannes Film Festival, criticizes President Macron

The French director and new Palme d’Or winner has criticized French President Emmanuel Macron. She was shocked by the crackdown on protests in the country.

“The country has been hit by historic protests against pension reform. These protests were … shockingly suppressed,” RIA Novosti quote Justine as saying.

Recall that the film “Trajectory of the fall” by Justine Triet received this Saturday the grand prize of the Cannes Film Festival.
