The RDK invited the governor of the Belgorod region to a meeting to transfer the prisoners. Gladkov accepted

The “Russian Volunteer Corps” (RDC), which fought alongside Ukraine, which last month took part in the attack on the Belgorod region, invited the governor of Belgorod Vyacheslav Gladkov “for dialogue” in the temple of Novaya Tavolzhanka (a village in the Shebekinsky district). RDK participants claim on their social networks that in exchange they are ready to hand over Russian prisoners to the head of the region.

In a video recorded on Sunday, members of the RDK claim that on the occasion of the “great Orthodox holiday”, the day of the Holy Trinity, they are ready to make a “gesture of goodwill” by delivering the captives – from “plain Russian soldiers”. According to them, they want the opportunity to communicate “personally” with the head of the region and talk about “the future of Russia”.

Gladkov himself in response declared in his telegram chain he saw “the call of scoundrels, scoundrels, murderers and fascists” who would have liked to meet him.

“In fact, we went with the DRG, there is an ongoing battle in Novaya Tavolzhanka.

I hope they are all destroyed. It cannot be otherwise, by definition.

Every day civilians die at the hands of these fascists,” Gladkov said.

According to him, the only thing stopping him are “our boys, who are in their hands”.

“Most likely they killed them, no matter how hard it was for me to tell. But if they are alive, from 17 to 18 – MAPP (Automobile Multilateral Control Point – Note Russian media) Shebekino. I guarantee security,” added the governor.

Prigogine also responded to RDK

The founder of the PMC Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozhin, was the first to respond to the “invitation” of the RDK, which drafted an appeal to the commander of this formation, Denis Kapustin*.

“If no one comes to the designated place for the prisoners, I am ready to send one of my high-ranking deputies to pick them up. If Vladimir Alexandrovich Zelenskyy gets to this place, he is ready to get there himself,” says Prigozhin (his statement son press service of the company “Concord”).

At the end of May, the Moscow City Court confirmed the arrest in absentia of Kapustin *, of which he is accused – in the material of Russian media. You can read about what RDK participants are armed with here.
