Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Story of struggle of poor widow woman

Jaipur. The scene is of the district hospital in Madhepur city. There is an atmosphere of noise in the medical ward there. A crowd of about two dozen people was present outside this ward. Two security guards are on duty to control the crowd. Some say that a forty year old patient has died. He was brought for treatment some three days back.

Even then he seemed serious. A woman was also walking along with the patient’s stretcher, and two innocent children in a miserable condition. Barefoot and wearing an old shirt. Brown matted hair. The skin of the face is dry. The dry stream of spit that came out of the hoto right here…. She is expressing her helplessness in just one look. The name of the patient is being told as Birendra Das. The age of the attendant Simadevi who came along did not seem to be more than thirty years.

The patient was on oxygen. Even after this, there were no auspicious signals on the monitor. The doctors of the ward themselves were looking troubled. One of these. Seemed like a senior. The message was being given again and again. The patient requires a ventilator. By the way, artificial breath was being given with a balloon-like device. But due to this proper monitoring was not being done. To save the life of the patient, a bed was required in the ICU. Waiting for this.

Only then the face of the ward boy appeared. He was out of breath as he walked with brisk steps. The little doctor did Isra. He said… what happened? Why don’t you tell? There is unnecessary delay. The matter itself was something like this. He said that some patient has just died. His machine will be installed. I didn’t understand. I kept thinking in my mind. He does not accept my oath. Need alcohol all day long. Five year old daughter and seven year old son have to study. Then the cost of the kitchen is also not less. But did not agree.

Only then came to know, lying outside the shops of the colony. Too yellow. He was unconscious till he was brought to the hospital. Talked to the doctor, he was also angry. Used to say, he has drunk poisonous liquor. The poison has spread. Trying Giving the best medicines. Can’t say anything even after this. Whatever happens, his fate. Anything can happen. Disabled and poor women are being helped in the Sustainable Livelihood Scheme. Which area has changed?
