Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the private military company Wagner, said on Sunday that his PMC would not sign contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry. The day before at the Ministry of Defense reported that volunteer detachments will sign contracts with the Department of Defense by July 1.

“PMC Wagner will not sign any contract with (Russian Defense Minister Sergey – Note Russian media) Shoigu. PMC “Wagner” is organically integrated into the overall system, PMC “Wagner” coordinates its actions with generals on the right, on the left, with unit commanders, has the deepest experience and is a very efficient structure, ” complaints Prigogine.

At the same time, Prigozhin said that his PMC is “absolutely completely subordinate” to the interests of Russia and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and also “coordinates all its actions and fulfills the tasks set by General of the Army Surovikin” .

According to Prigozhin, Surovikin is “an intelligent, competent and experienced commander”, and the tasks that PMC “Wagner” carried out on his behalf “showed a high level of efficiency and success”.
