Kamala Harris, who serves as the Vice President, has recently replied to the former president, Donald Trump’s, offensive remarks about her intelligence and has stated that she would take the cognitive test and “would challenge him to take the same one.”
Harris criticized Trump for resorting to name-calling, claiming he is “increasingly unstable and unhinged” and has no vision for the people of America.
Harris also pointed to some former officials who have been closely associated with Trump, saying, they have called him “not fit to be the president of the United States.” During an interview with CBS News.
She added, “Do not take it from me, hear it from those who know him the best,” like his former chiefs of staff and military leaders such as four-star Marine General John Kelly.
The vice president was however criticized by several Republican congressional leaders for her statements, including one in which she referred to Trump as a “fascist,” with some claiming she was provoking violence against the former president. In turn, Harris reiterated that she is against any “political violence of any sort against anyone” and insisted that it is relevant to consider those people who have worked with Trump.
As Election Day approaches, Harris admitted that it is indeed a tight race but remained positive, saying that she has observed “a lot of enthusiasm” while out on the campaign.
