The NYT Spelling Bee answers today, October 29, 2026, include two pangrams: GRANDPOP and PROPAGANDA.

Today’s hive uses R as the center letter, with A, D, G, N, O and P around it. The puzzle has 53 words worth 227 points. If you want to keep solving, work through these hints first and scroll down only for the full list. Newcomers can read our Spelling Bee guide for scoring and pangram strategy.

  1. Hint 1: The center letter is R, and every answer must contain it.
  2. Hint 2: The outer letters are A, D, G, N, O and P.
  3. Hint 3: There are 53 words and two pangrams.
  4. Hint 4: One pangram has eight letters and starts with G. It is an informal word for a grandfather.
  5. Hint 5: The other pangram has ten letters and starts with P. It means information spread to promote a cause.

According to The New York Times’ Spelling Bee forum for October 29, 2026, the puzzle has 53 words, 227 available points and two pangrams. Those official totals establish the puzzle’s size; they do not independently verify every entry in the answer list below.

The two pangrams, GRANDPOP and PROPAGANDA, and the answer list below are attributed to Try Hard Guides’ October 29 answer guide. The list is internally consistent with the official totals, but has not been checked entry by entry against the official game.

The two pangrams are GRANDPOP (8 letters, 15 points) and PROPAGANDA (10 letters, 17 points). Each pangram uses all seven letters and earns 7 bonus points on top of one point per letter. Double-pangram hives are not unusual: our August 24 Spelling Bee answers covered DORMANT and MORDANT.
