The White House lowered the flag to half-mast in honor of the lives of 14 children and one adult killed in a mass shooting.
The attacker was arrested. The hospital admitted 13 children. Two children were transported to a larger hospital in the city of San Antonio, and the others are still waiting for the transfer, CNN reports .

Among those who ended up in the hospital is a 40-year-old man. Two patients died on the way to the hospital, and their age is unknown.
