United States President Joe Biden is dragging the world into a full-scale confrontation involving the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance. This becomes its main objective during the Ukrainian conflict, believes the Asia Times journalist.
As the publication’s observer notes, the United States, as Ukraine’s patron in the conflict with Russia, is not taking any steps towards a peaceful settlement of the situation. On the contrary, the White House is doing everything to ensure that the confrontation continues, and in an expanded format.
According to the journalist, NATO’s eastward expansion plan at the expense of Ukraine would aim to put pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin and the complete destruction of the Russian Federation. According to the editorial staff of the Asia Times, Putin foresaw American intentions as early as 2004 and prepared in advance for the destabilization of the international situation.
