The United States has questioned China’s ability to be an “honest mediator” in the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine

The United States has condemned China for allegedly supporting Russia in its war against Ukraine after Beijing unveiled a plan to end the year-long conflict.
China has been “anything but an honest broker” in peace efforts in Ukraine and has “very clearly” sided with Russia, State Department spokesman Ned Price said Monday.
China provides Russia with “diplomatic support, political support, economic support and rhetorical support,” Price said at a press briefing.
China, which announced a ‘borderless’ alliance with Russia shortly before the invasion a year ago, refused to condemn the invasion and released a 12-point plan last week calling for a ceasefire. -fire and a gradual de-escalation on both sides.
US President Joe Biden, in an interview with ABC television broadcast on Sunday, said China’s plan was hugely beneficial for Russia.
“I haven’t seen anything in this plan that indicates anything beneficial to anyone other than Russia,” Biden said.
