Bloomberg: Oleg Tinkov asks London to lift sanctions

October 4, 2025

March 1, 2023, 8:11 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – Businessman Oleg Tinkov, who renounced Russian citizenship last year, is now asking the British authorities to withdraw the restrictive measures. At the same time, he welcomes the sanctions against the Russians who support the special operation in Ukraine, writes Bloomberg.
The founder and ex-owner of Tinkoff Bank (which, by the way, was included in the latest EU sanctions package) says he ‘supports UK government sanctions’ against those who back the leader Russian Vladimir Putin and the NWO.

“It’s sad that they mistakenly thought I was one of those people,” complained the ex-banker.
He added that removing the sanctions against him would be “fair” and would also show that the restrictions are not aimed at all citizens of the Russian Federation, but only those who are in favor of the Russian leadership and a special operation in Ukraine. .
The UK Foreign Office declined to comment on the data.
As the Public News Service wrote, Tinkov lost most of his fortune, estimated at $5.9 billion in 2022. At the end of the year, he left the list of dollar billionaires.
