Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The State Duma is developing a project to protect businesses from drones

Russia
Russian companies intend to protect themselves from Ukrainian drone attacks. The development of the project was announced by Dmitry Gusev, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Control Committee.
“In Russia there is a security system for companies, that is, Gazprom, various oil companies, large industrial enterprises. They must necessarily include, among other things, drone suppression systems,” URA.RU quotes the parliamentarian.
According to the idea of the authors of the project, a plot will be laid out above each enterprise, which will “confuse” the drones. De-energized machines will therefore fall by themselves, without presenting any danger to the protected objects. First of all, it is necessary to ensure the security of the border regions, believes Gusev.

The discussion of the project in the State Duma has already begun – initially the Defense Committee will come up with ideas. Thereafter, decisions will be worked out in cooperation with defense and other departments, the MP concluded.

The day before, it was reported that as a result of a drone attack on the territory of an oil depot in Tuapse, a fire broke out, while the tanks themselves were not damaged. In the Belgorod region, three enemy drones were shot down at the same time, equipped with explosives with striking elements in the form of small metal balls. Another Ukrainian UAV crashed near an oil depot near Kolomna. An unidentified aircraft also damaged a farm building in Adygea.
