Russian President Vladimir Putin opened the Year of the Teacher online at the Mashuk Knowledge Center in Pyatigorsk, reports press service of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation .
First of all, the head of state greeted all the participants of the programs of the knowledge center of the city of the resort town of Mashuk and thanked the teachers of schools, colleges and universities for their work.
“I want to wish success to those who gathered today in the Stavropol Territory. I am sure your direct communication will be very helpful. And not only for those present at our meeting today, but also for the entire educational community of the country, for all the mentors who do a very important job. There are a lot of details here related to material incentives, organization of work, involvement of people involved in carrying out combat missions in the NVO area to this mentorship, as well as many technical issues and legal,” noted Vladimir Putin.
He also recalled that from September 1, 2023, unified and compulsory federal educational programs in socially important disciplines and subjects, such as Russian language, literature, geography and, of course, social sciences and l history, will begin to operate in schools.
“We are certainly going to improve the quality of teaching in these disciplines, and at all levels of education”, underlined the Head of State.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin interrupted his trip to the North Caucasus due to events in the Bryansk region.
