Jess O’Connor from the Married at First Sight series has opened up on TikTok about a really miserable breakup she had with an ex-boyfriend who got a little better behind her.
“Okay, here’s the story of what happened between my ex and my stepmom,” Jess said, but the incident in question happened over five years ago.
“So I had been in a relationship for four years and my stepmom had been my stepmom for about 25 years, so she had been in my life for quite a long time.”
She describes that she and her then-boyfriend broke up and went out to eat, then decided to spend the night with her father and stepmother.
However, Jess woke up that night and noticed that her boyfriend was not lying next to her.
“I went down to see where he was. He was on the couch with the blanket over him and I thought – Who the hell?
Jess walked into the living room and saw two empty champagne glasses and two cell phones.
“Then I saw his clothes on the floor. So I went back to him and pulled the blanket off him. He tried to get dressed in a hurry so he pulled his panties up, so he was wearing his fucking lace panties .”
Jess responded by “screaming like I’ve never screamed before”.
But then she woke up her father and stepmother.
Jess says her mother-in-law tried to defend herself, claiming Jess’ boyfriend must have grabbed the wrong pair of panties from the laundry basket.
It didn’t mean anything, though, because on the coffee table you could see handprints in the dust, indicating that two people had “activated” there.
It shouldn’t be surprising that she then dumped her boyfriend and her father dumped her stepmother. However, the incident stayed with Jess and she had to seek psychological help.
“I had to see a psychologist and stuff like that…because I was so depressed. I put a suicide note on my phone. I had to take time off from work. I put long to get over it. That’s why I’ve been single for five years.”
