Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

3 virtual concert halls opened in the Smolensk region in 2022

In 2022, 3 virtual concert halls became available for locals. The opening of such spaces has become possible thanks to the implementation of the national project “Culture”. Virtual concert halls appeared at the Dorogobuzh children’s art school, in the children’s music schools of Gagarinsky and Dukhovshchinsky districts.

The goal of the project is to expand the accessibility of academic musical art and to unite the entire territory of Russia into a single cultural space using advanced information technologies.

In these halls, an online broadcasting system has been installed, through which viewers can watch and listen to the performances of leading artists and bands in real time or recorded. For this, modern highly professional equipment was purchased, which allows to maintain the purity and quality of sound, creating the effect of being at a concert.

During the opening of the virtual halls, the residents of Smolensk were able to go to the Khabarovsk Regional Philharmonic and listen to the performance of the XI International Yuri Bashmet Festival, as well as the concert “Magic of the Three Pianos” of the famous ensemble – the piano trio “Bel Suono” at the Kremlin Palace.
