Zapolyarny HC Arktika lost to Polet from Rybinsk at home

Murmansk’s HC Arktika was beaten by NMHL leaders Team Polet. The next Polar Team games will be played in the playoff format.

On Saturday, March 4, the Murmansk Ice Palace hosted the second consecutive meeting between the polar ice hockey club Arktika and the Polet club of Rybinsk. This was reported in the press service of the Murmansk team.

The result of the match did not please the northerners – the defeat of Arktika by the score of 3-7. At the same time, the meeting that took place between the teams the day before, on March 3, ended in a victory for the owners of the ice 5-4 in a shootout.

Arktika ends the 2022-23 regular season in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. This is enough to play the Regional Cup in the playoffs.

The next rival of the Murmansk team will be HC “Unison-Moscow”, the meetings will be held on March 11-12 in the Ice Palace of the Arctic capital.

Recall that earlier MK in Murmansk said that the first round of the Polar Olympics awards was played in Kirovsk.
