Voronezh region will accept dozens of trotting horses from the capital

April 9, 2023

The hippodrome in central Moscow is being reconstructed. In this regard, it was proposed to place the stock of trotting horses in regional racetracks, including Voronezh.

According to JSC Russian Hippodromes, the question of accepting trotting horses in the Voronezh region (80 + 120 stalls) at the price of one stall per month is currently under consideration – from 3210 rubles.

– In connection with the termination of the right of ownership of Rosippodromy JSC to the real estate of the Central Moscow Hippodrome, horse breeding tests were stopped at this site. In order to preserve the herd of trotting horses, it has been proposed to place them in 17 regional racecourses, reports the JSC.

The governor of the Voronezh region wrote in his telegram channel that our region may receive an unexpected boost for the development of tourism.

–  We are negotiating to accept horses at our racecourse. If everything goes, I think we will have a lot of new tourists who love horse racing,” said Alexander Gusev.
